Default another beating dead horse on bat. relocation

I have a bmr bracket for the spare tire well and I know it is not nhra accepted since it is not enclosed box. I have an optima and I have heard by some that those don't have to be in a sealed box some say tehy still do.
Can someone answer this so I know if I should sell the bmr kit or not
THANKS

ANY battery in the trunk has to be in an enclosed box, or you have to install a metal bulkhead.

Period.
