How about these rims on a black TA???
Centerline 'Galaxy'
I think they're pretty cool looking. They're polished, so that sucks, but they sweet as hell and I'm sure no one else has them. I'd probably get them in 18x9.5".

I have seen those rims before, never on a car, I'm can't decide if I like them or not.
Any good LS1 speed shops in P-cola or a drag strip?

Couldn't tell ya as far as the speed shops, I've only been here for a month and a half. As far as a local drag strip, I believe there's one in Mobile, AL, that's what the local F-body guys have been saying. Don't know if you know, but there's a club around here, their website is Golf Coast F-Body Association

You sure that's the right link?
I haven't been to the track in Mobile yet, I'm told it's an 1/8 mile. I'm waiting till I get a 12-bolt and better driveshaft before I go to the track.

DOH Sorry, it wasn't a .COM but a .ORG. The like works now. But yeah, as far as the track, I just know that the guys are planning to go there one of these days to have a Mobile vs. Pensacola thing, hehe, just for sh*ts and giggles I guess. But yeah, since my car's back home I have no way of going cruisin with the guys on Saturday nights

Theres a maroon 95 z28 in cincinnat that has those wheels. pretty cool looking, he said he'd never get them again, because the front ones turn black as soon as you hit the brakes, and the dust is VERY hard to take off

Strange looking wheel. It is different.
Go for it.

i have seen those before, on a SOM WS6 transam
dont remember if it was a pic on the net or if I saw it locally
looked great though, and if i remember correctly they were 17's
since you wanna get 18's, IMO it will look very good
too bad they're polished, thats a pita

Yeah, I've actually decided to go against getting them. Pretty much because I think they're too busy, plus they're polished, PLUS, I had some guy over on CZ28 do a photoshop job with them and I didn't really like what they look like. Oh well, I guess I just MIGHT have to go with Z06s

Re: How about these rims on a black TA???
I really like those. I may be interested if I could get them in 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear with the correct 98-up f-body offest. My chrome AFS ZR1s are HEAVY, really HEAVY! Anyone know the weight on the Galaxy wheels in the above mentioned sizes?
