ok i have a 97 z28 5.7 auto trans that makes a clunk sound everytime i slow down or let on or off the accelerator since this started ,ive already changed the trans mount with a energy suspension mount ive also replaced the torqe arm mount with the energy mount as well, its not the u joints either as i went ahead and swapped the driveshaft as well with a brand new alumnum shaft with spicer joints .ive seen alot of post on here with people having a similer problem but never a deffinate answer ?is it the backlash in the rear?
