2000 Firehawk Build for Pinks All Out - JULY 16-17!!!
Update:7/6/10
Got a little more than a week before the show!
Best time with the MS4/ Stock rear/ Stock Supension was 12.37 @ 117.
Iv Added/Changed for Pinks:
Still Full Weight AC and All works
3620 With me in it!
Spooled Strange 12 Bolt 4:56s
QA1 "Rs" Single Adj Front Shocks
Strange Single Adj Rear Shocks
Monster Stange 3 Clutch
Bogart Wheels w/ 28x13.5 ET Streets
Lingenfelter 2 step
Full UMI Adj Rear Suspension
UMI Drag Bar
Not really a build just changing some things to make the car "Work". This is a street car not a race car, so I dont intend on making the show, but to go and have a good time. Im hopeing to dip in the Mid 11s just fast enough to NOT need a cage. Everyone tryed to get me to do some juice but its not for me or this car. I enjoy driving this car more than racing, but Hey I made it on the show so lets at least have fun with it!
Went from This:
To This!
This is how the car sits (March 2010):
Im doing some paint work on the fenders (Something was up with the clear my fault)
Doing Shocks, Rearend, Wheels and some minor weight reduction..
Parts as they start to come in!!

I plan on in the next week or two posting a build thread with my current progress, I'm a little busy at the moment. Its a chromolly round tube 25.4 chassis built from the firewall back with a TON of work still left... LOL

Update: 4-13!! Rear End is HERE!!
I painted it today! Also why I was at it I painted the Panhard Bar and some other goodies for the rear!
Spooled 12 bolt from Strange. Narrowed 2.5ins each side! Looks amazing! Very impressed with the quality and work! Iv had Moser in the past..well just say well keep them in the past. Strange FTW!!
Kinda hard to see in the pictures but I had a little fun while painting the rear..notice the red preal??

My garage is Dirty..dont mind that..still picking up tools..
Still trying to get my issue with the E Brake Bracket fixed and Not sure If I put the rear shocks in the right way...I thought if the **** was facing the inside the sway bar would be in the way..now looking, I dont know if I can adjust them with the tires on..
So how does everyone mount them, **** facing tire or the inside of the car??
