What gear should my tranny be in....

Default What gear should my tranny be in....

to install the spec 2+ clutch/spec steel flywheel....is it better to leave it in a low gear or is neutral ok?....stupid question i know, but this is my first clutch install and i don't wanna mess anything up

Huh? Are you asking about when you take out the trans? It doesn't matter

It doesn't matter. The transmission is being dropped from the car and the clutch assembly and flywheel are connected to the engine. You always should leave the car in gear AND have the parking brake on however since you will be underneath it for quite some time.
