Congrats mike c those M&H tires really do hook for you. Thanks for all your help and those are the same tires I will be ordering. Did you have to cut your bump stops at all?

I made no mods to the car at all for the 26x11.5x15 tires. My clutch went,I will get a 1.39 or better 60 foot from this thing this year. I think you will be happy. don't be afraid to come out hard on them. I ran at 13psi cold on these runs. The guy taking pics told be to add 2lbs of air so they don't wrinkle so much and i'll go faster. I didn't get the chance.
Your car sounds tough. And did your own tuning, nice. How did you do your own catless y-pipe?

SMOKEDOUTZ28-Those rims are bad ***,they look sweet. I need to get a set. are they heavier then a stock 17x9 stock rim?

Thanks! The wheels are heavy 23lbs each without tires.... There good for street but not to optimal for the track so I ordered those new weld wheels.

I like your setup, seems to be the exact thing I'm looking and hoping for out of my 402 when I finish the build.

A friend and I built the Y pipe out of some material we got from a muffler shop. It was a pain in the *** because we have never buillt anything like that before. Cutting pieces and welding, making pie cuts and getting it to all line up. I used a 3" to 3.5" flowmaster merge collector. It's not real pretty at all and its not mandrel bent, but oh well it works for now.

I have gone through 2 slave cylinders and 2 master cylinders now because my damn pedal keeps sticking to the floor. I hope you get your clutch issues figured out I know how frustrating it can be.

Sorry to hear about your trans issues. Must have been frustrating to get a 10 sec slip on the first pass and then break....

Nice to see another 10 sec 6sp on here though and congrats on a decent first pass for a full weight car.

It don't look pretty, but if it gets the job done that's all that matters. This clutch was in my car for three years. I pulled it for a new one and my slave went and got fluid on the new clutch. I put my old one back in and it didn't last long.
Thanks. I was like no way when the car went down. I'll be back soon. Trick flow has a l92/ls3 head coming and it should be a killer head from what i hear.
I hope to add them and get a 10.5 pass.

What clutch are you running? Three years of hard launches sounds like a strong clutch. What rpm are you shifting at?

Hadn't heard about the Trickflow L92's. Do you know if they'll also be producing a single plane 4150 style intake for them? I'm running some home-ported L92's/L76/NW90 for now. Car lost alot of weight this winter so I too am looking for a 10.70 or better....

Hope you get the trans sorted out soon.

I'M RUNNING A SPEC ST3+. I tried three rams and centerforce, all sucked in my car big time. The spec is the only clutch that will last. I shift this motor at 7,100 rpm's. You can see the dyno sheet in the dyno section. I think it's the clutch and not the trans. I think the press-plate got stuck or bent and fried the clutch.
I was told The trick flow l92/ls3 head will be out around christmas or first of next year. Ed at trick flow and I have talked and t.e.a is working with them on the heads. Ed tells me they are working to give a great head that will do the job.
I do not know about a intake, you can call Ed at trick flow for info.

I got 12 dyno pulls showing it still making power at 7800.

No need to doubt it. Car weighs 3820 without the bottle in it. and has been 10.97 at 126 with a 1.49 60 ft with 4.30 gears and 28" tires. and only going through the traps at 6900 in 4th.

Mike it appears Nova is not running the L76 intake, in his sig it says he is running GMPP single plane intake. That would make a lot more sense.

Yes,no way he has a l76 intake. my car peaked at 7,000. but from 7,000 to 7,500 it only lost 9hp. I'm going to try a new elbow over this edelbrock and see if i gain.
3820lbs car how is it so heavy? do you have my ex wife in the trunk?lol

What kind of power does your car make?
