hey everyone, i was just wondering if you guys thought the stock tranny felt notchy? i don't have the hurst shifter. it just doesn't seem like the tranny shifts very smooth, my car only has 42000 miles and the previous owner kept it a his show car. any mods i could do to get a better feel with the tranny? new shifter? what kind do you recommend? thanks.

I also think it feels kinda rough, or hard to shift sometimes. Do a search for "drill mod". This only helps with high RPM shifting however, and is a pain to do unless you happen to be replacing the master cylinder.

does anyone think that a stiffer tranny mount would help with the transmission movement. maybe making shifts more stable and smooth?
