Default Anyone ever fill in the letters on the ls1 vette valve covers?

I'm using a ls1 from a 02 vette in my project car. I like the look of the valve covers so I want to use them but I want to get rid of the inset corvette writing. There has to be something out there that I can fill the letters with and sand to paint. Anyone? Thanks Kris

Fuel rail covers? There are a couple threads documenting the process you described.

Default make them your own

here is an idea for you just cut a couple of pieces of aluminum and 3m double face tape them on to make a blank canvas and make them your own.

i did mine and had no problem with them for over 4 yrs. you need to grind them down pretty good and fill them with a plastic repair material for bumpers. 3M makes it the part number is 5887. dont jsut slap some bondo on them because they will crack. you can se a thin coat of putty for your final fill to get rid of any pinholes if needed
