Arrow MAF/MTI lid question...easier to tune?

I have a MTI Lid that I will be putting on my car in place of my SLP. I have noticed that the MTI lid has a much larger opening at the end. I'm assuming that that end is made for a 85mm throttle body, is that correct?

Also, since I will be replacing the MAF anyway, which is the easiest for a shop to tune? (I heard SLP's is a tuner's nightmare) So basically which size/flow/tuneability MAF would be best?

Thank you,
Matt

I heard changing the MAF is a tuners nightmare unless they have the tables for it. I haven't heard of any problems with the SLP lid.. maybe I need to get out more though

To clarify: I was talking about the SLP MAF, not the lid. The lid is SLP, but I was just switching to the MTI Carbon for the looks. Once I received the package I noticed that the MTI lid had the bigger hole that connects to the MAF.

So SLP MAF wouldn't be a problem or is there better out there?

Well what I'm trying to figure out is:

1) What is the size MAF is the correct size for the MTI Carbon Fiber lid.

2)What is the best MAF brand to go with? (I hear the SLPs are hard on tuning so which brand/size should I go with?

The MTI carbon lid is stock size. I'm not aware of them designing a larger one before they went out of business.

The stock one. You are gaining absolutely nothing by going to a bigger MAF on a stock sized lid.

When I took off my stock MAF to mock up the the MTI and the true ram air housing, the stock MAF was too small for the MTI outlet...that's why this is confusing. I'm being told it's a stock size, but it's not matching up. I'll try to get pics up sometime tonight.
