I think the conversion section is the unofficial carb forum.

I'll try and help, not familiar with demon carbs, but at least it might start a dialog.

Do you have a wide band? Do you know if you are going rich or lean when this happens?

You don't mention your accell squirters. That would be my guess. What nozzles, cam and pump size are you running? Most guys run the bigger 50 cc booster on the primary side.

The off idle performance on my Holley is very sensitive to the accel pump cam. Make sure you have no gap in the linkage. You should see an nice solid shot with even the slightest touch of the throttle. The open plenum intake needs a cam with a rapid initial squirt. Holley says to moung it on #1 hole for motors like ours. Got this from the Holley site for #1 vs. #2 mounting hole

Placing the screw in position #1 activates the accelerator pump a little early, allowing full use of the pump’s capacity. Generally, vehicles which normally run at lower idle speeds (600 or 700 RPM) find this position more useful because they can have a good pump shot available coming right off this relatively low idle. Positions #2 and #3 delay the pump action, relatively speaking. These two cam positions are good for engines that idle around 1000 RPM and above.
One other problem I once had was a leaking gasket on the accel squirter nozzle. This drained the gas out of the top of the squirter and would delay the shot on initial kick in.

Try reading through some of the carb setups in this sticky thread

last guess is how old is the Demon? Quite a number of guys claim their new demons were full of metal shavings out of the box. Make sure none of the passages are blocked with junk.

What are you running for igninion? An MSD box? Whats your timing map like? I have to agree with Pop though, it does sound like a missing fuel enrichment, but it should bog without fuel, so maybe not enough low RPM timing is losing too much bottom end torque.
Like Pop said, you should use a wide band to check the fuel

i have used any thing from 25 to 37 shooters and moved the cam in every spot and also changed the cam to a pink one(fast shot).

after some adjusting i went the other way and jetted it to 80's frt an back and WOW GETTING SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR ONCE! so after resetting the idle airs to 1 turn each and the shooters at 28 and 31 and 74 prime and 80 rear its coming around! but now the plugs look rich as hell (turning a mild brown) all the up the radius? and with the 74 jet i have a little stumbling till its moving(very little) so i think i need to now take a trip to the dyno and beat it now that it close and see what the A/F SAYS!

THANKS GUYS

When people say they want to switch to carb because EFI is way too complicated, I want them to read this post...
