nice tracks, kinda in this area.
*evergreen point in baytown..
*eagle point in mont belvieu (kinda far but worth the drive)
*magnolia creek league city its private now, but you can call them and they will let you pay and play there, tell them your thinking about joining.

*if you play herman, you should also try memorial park.

*Battle ground in deerpark . Not thrilling but ok.

*glennbrook park on 45 near broadway..short and never in good shape, but an old fun course.

There are 2 in Alvin. They are both "fair" but nothing near as nice as courses like Timber Creek.

Hillcrest - 9 holes (4 par 3's, 4 par 4's and 1 par 5) lighted for night play

Alvin Country Club - 18 holes, very average course.

I was going to say the same thing. I have never played it, but want to get out there soon.

I don't play golf but i work at Cypress Lakes golf coarse. Everyone seems to be happy with our greens. Lots of good people out there too.

Have any of you played battleground in Deer Park? It is very highly rated and well priced at around $30. If you aren't very good you won't like the narrow fairways, lol.
