Default relocated battery, now having trouble with alternator

i relocated the battery to the trunk of the car, and i ran the battery cable from the trunk to the little red power distribution box (on the passenger side of the engine bay), i then ran a cable from the starter to that same red power distribution box, and i also did the same for the alternator, but idk if thats where i should run it...

to anyone else that has relocated their battery, how did you guys run that cable from the alternator that used to go straight to the battery??

I ran 3 lines directly from the battery. The big cable (1 awg) straight to the starter, a 4 awg to the alternator, and a 6 awg to the junction block.

I ran a similar setup as BchnCamaro and had no problems.

ok thanks guys

i forgot to mention that my alternator has gone crazy, and i dont know why

lets say that i turn the car on, well the alternator scream really really loud, but idk why, whats wierd is that it only does it when i plug in that connection that goes from the wiring harness to the alternator, i unplug it and it stops, it also gets super hot, i cant even touch it cause it burns

i got it rebuilt, still does it

i swapped it with a good one from my other car (a 95z), and it made it do the same

what could be going on here
