the car is a 98 ls1 it has long tubes,slp lid,true dual exhaust,3-3200 circle d,228r 112lsa,stock 2.73s and will be tuned on drs when i run it what do you guys think????

If you get it to hook your 11s all day long.11.80 would be my guess with good traction. Gears are your down fall

never ran in the 1/4 only in the 1/8th and i ran a 9.0 with the lid lts and true duals on street tires with stock tune only got it to the track once

a 11.9 pass for me was a 7.50 in the 1/8. i think with some 3.73s its possible

9.0 at 80mph is good for a 13.7-13.8 pass . With the converter D/R's and cam ,I figure youll knock at least full second off . Im thinking low to mid 12's. 273 gears are not going to work in your favor .

sounds good my car has no suspension mods at all and i feel that my suspension is a little wore out and my stock tune was holding me back alot i bought the car from an old lady and it seems to be detuned or something because i reach top speed in third gear at 125 it hits the limiter has enyone had this problem????? so maybe with some suspension,and good tuning i mite be were im looking for????

yeah, with street tires, stock rear and suspension, and stock heads, somewhere in the 12s is reasonable.

I think my car was in need of a tune bad because it use to let out black smoke when i would punch it and the limiter at 125 was wierd also has any one had this problem on there stock tune ls1


i feel that the car had alot more in it than a 9.0 but we will see when i finish up the cam swap and converter i hope to get in the 7s 1/8th mile i have a bone to pick with my friends h/c foxbody running 7.7s in the 1/8th

Thanks anyway lol!!! I dont really know any one in miami with f-bodys hopefully when i finish the car il get to go to meets and meet some other people with the same cars i dont see to many here in miami

My best guess is that those 2.73's are going to hold you back. 12's all day, but I just don't see you getting off the line quick enough with those gears to get that 11-second slip. A set of 3.42's and I think it would be a no-brainer assuming you hook up. Post up some results either way, though. Good luck, man.
