Default Fixed a misfire problem, but now revs up by itself??

Yes so I just fixed a misfire but now the car revs up by itself up to like 1200 rpm max and then drops back to normal, then revs up again(etc etc etc lol) and it ONLY happens when at a stop or idle...what could it be!? IACV maybe?

I would suspect either a bad IAC or a vacuum leak.

I had the same problem with the car reving itself and it turned out to be a bad tps.Mine would rev itself up and down like yours until one day I turned on the car and it stayed idling at 1500rpm

my floormat used to get stuck up behind the gas petal on my 96 T/A.
