Should I get 3.73's?
I'm about to have a cam and stall put in my car. (both of which are at the bottom of my sig) then I'm going to have it dyno tuned. My question is, should I go from my 3.23's to 3.73's? I've been told it helps with the drivability, but won't it mess with my top end power? This car will so NO track time, as it's my dd, so don't I need all the top end power I can get?
Also, will getting 3.73's make THAT much of a difference after the stall?

I would for sure swap a set of GM 3.73's in it. Especially with the stall and cam...they will go hand in hand great. That cam is pretty close to what I ran in my old LTx set up. Your top end will not suffer. IMHO I would go with a Yank SS3600 stall. I never tracked mine either, just an around town hwy driver and that stall was awesome. Great driveability..A++ quality.

I went from 3.42's to 3.73's and its a noticable difference.. I did them myself though with some help of a friend and they whine.
I'm working on getting them changed now and I'm going to go with 4.10's
My advice would be to make sure its done right the first time, you don't want to have to go back and do it again.
From what I hear M6's go with 4.10s and A4s go with 3.73s.

3.73s are a nice SOTP mod, even for cars originally equipped with 3.23s. I think they compliment a cam and stall. They can make traction a little harder to come by though. They will also kick your hwy cruise rpms up by about 500 over 3.23s. Overall a good mod for the price IMO. They will also tighten your stall up when doing around town driving.
