Default 4L60E Shifts 1-2 in OD stays in 2 untill warm then works good

Hey i got a problem. (This is a 4L60E in a 01' Trans-Am) when i first take my car out after sitting for a day or less it will only shift 1-2 in OD, and stays in 2. then after a few miles it will shift to 3-4 as it should and continue to work fine until i park it. the less it sits the less time it takes for it to get out of 2nd, and the longer well the longer it takes. i also noticed when it is stuck in 2nd it is not locked up i can let off the gas and the rpm will drop to idle. also tried manually shifting when it is stuck shifts 1-2 and when i go to 3rd rpm doesn't change same with OD.. manual shifting works as it should after driving a few miles or less depending on the time it was parked.. alright i think that's about it lol.
