A4 to M6 04 GTO i was wondering if there was anyone out there who would be wanting to swap there M6 for an A4 Tranny in the 04-06 goat. i really am wanting a six speed.......if so let me know please

One good thing going for the 04 is it's a ton easier to flash the existing computers to run a4 if they were an m6. . .Dont know about going the other way though. Havent done that swap for anyone yet.

Never said anything about the tranny. Hell you can stick a TH400 if you want. The computers are different from the '04 to the '05 and '06. And from what I've been told are not swappable.
With that said do you know anyone that has done this swap with an '04 to an '05 or '06?

o and yes i have swapped a 05 trans (4l65e) into my own 2004 gto, along with probably thousands of f-body guys. the differences are on the drive parts such as it having a 5 gear planetary set compared to a 4 gea in the 4l60.

so the computers dont mean jack. the trans doesnt have an internal one. the stock 04 411pcm will run it just fine.
