Another Personal Best for the Firehawk!
2000 Firehawk
MS4 Cam
6 Speed
Spooled 12 Bolt
QA1 "Rs" up front (full Soft)
Strange Singles in the rear,(2 from full stiff)
Leaving off the 2 Step at 5000
Man it was hot and humid. Prob 85 when we started, for the air we had I feel pretty good.
Didnt get the best burnout, the car wanted to slide the front tires..oh well part of learning!

11.71 @ 118 1.83 60ft
With my best 60ft of 1.77 I pulled the passenger front tire off. Not bad for a Driver!
Starting to get better 60fts. I think some Bias Plys will be next on the list as well as a Drag Bar. Car is finally transferring weight and leaving funny so a Big Sway bar is next!
Best 60ft pass:

Iv got lots of room for improvemts still with the 60fts!
I started at 20..went to 16. 16-17 seemed to work really nice with a good burn out at around 5000. It would bog a bit so I stepped up to 5500 and didnt get a good burn out...but more track time and seat time will help!

I always do a second gear burn out..havent really thought about a line lock since I drive it. But if I end up needing one..Ill bite the bullet. Sometimes if the burn out box is getting dry the car likes to push the front tires..or maybe Im just not dumping it high enough?? It all falls back to seat time. I guess not bad for a 21yr old that truly pays for his car..
IV got Full Adj. UMI rear suspension. -2 on the Pinon angle I think, LCAs in the lowest setting.
Im ordering some bias plys for the rear Monday. The Hoosier Radials are fun but its getting hard to be consistant with my 60fts!

Try the m&h 26x11.5-15 Cheater slick. I've only made one pass with my lowered car, stock slp bilstein shocks, stock lcas and an airbag @ 5psi in the passenger side. 1st and only pass out I cut a 1.711 with a shitty burnout (newb). I dropped the hammer at 5000 and it spun but still pulled really hard. Not bad for my 1st pass on the new 9" and slicks. Now if my clutch would stop sticking to the floor i'd be ok.
