Default Still no spark after new ignition parts..

Car has newer wires and good plugs. Bought the car with a diagnosed bad opti by the owner. I have no spark at the coil or plug. Currently installed is a new ICM, coil, and working opti/MSD rotor and cap setup. The car still as no spark anywhere.

What else can i check?

The short one that connects to the opti. It tends to get fried after years of service next to the block and water pump.

By the way Summit racing has them for like 35 bucks. When I went to GM they wanted like 230.

did you check them with a multimeter to make sure they are good? Check the resistance on them just to be sure there is none.

what is the easiest way to check the wire for resistence. I have a multi meter but electronics (other than hooking up a stereo) is beyond me haha. but im willing to learn. Teach me.

set the meter to resistance and probe one end of the wire with one lead and the other with the other lead, and the meter should zero out when the connection is made through a good wire.

Check all your grounds for good contact, I scrubbed the **** out of mine were they contacted the frame because I was getting a high resistance reading from it, the one that goes to your ICM and I ended up replacing that little strap with a battery ground cable for extra insurance.

checked the resistence across both opti harnesses i have and they were all between .6-.9 ohms of resistence. Is this too high? or right in line?
