Default Hot cam in non factory roller block

I want to install a LT4 hot cam in a engine that was not a factory roller engine. Can I use aftermarket roller lifters? Is there anything else I am missing on this swap?

Default Cam

The engine is already a nice build, it would make for a expensive cam swap.

If its a "nice build " why do you want to use the hit cam?

Is this a gen 1 block?

Default Engine

The cam that is in the car is too radical and not something you would want to drive out of town and put some miles on. My 57 has the hot cam in it and I like everything about it. The block is around a 1982 engine.

If it is a nice build as you say, then it should already have a roller in it,why not get a retro cam,if not I would get a retro kit
