Painting Bumpers
What would be the best type of paint for repainting the bumpers on our cars? Undertaking a project of repainting the front bumper of my car. (GF backed into it) I have painted Rods and old school muscle cars before just never had the chance to paint on newer vehicles.

nothing really diferent about painting plastic, its preped the same way as sheet metal
unless i its a unprimed raw plastic, like the imports have then there is a proces beore paint
flex agent isnt even need as it evaporates in 6 months, clear coat is flexable, i havent used flex agent in yrs, so if you fixed the bumnper just keep in mind to inish the repair off in 240 to minimize swelling o the plastic
so some techs like to use a flexable primer, some like to use regular primer, i personally use both, ppg flexable primer is a great product, but it goes on horrible, ppgs ncp 271 can be applied over anything
for plastic all ya need is to apply a adheshion promoter before the primer, and your all good
hops that helps
