LE1 heads Manley 2.0 valves sticking out of chamber?

Default LE1 heads Manley 2.0 valves sticking out of chamber?
I just got my used le1 heads and the intake valves are not below the deck of the head. They are sticking out of the chamber a good 1/16 of an inch is this normal with bigger valves?

yes. even with milled heads somtimes the stock valves will hang. Usually LE will mill the heads quite a bit to bump up the compression and that why your seeing that.

My stock heads actually had the valves hanging a little below the deck when I pulled them.

mine were the same way, i used some playdoh to check piston to valve clearance and I had plenty even with the specs in my sig.

LE1 heads use stock valves... Are you shure there not LE2's.. Do you have any pix of the heads?
