Default Scratches on convertible top

My neighbors dog jumped up on my camaro and scratched the paint & my black convertible top. Thankfully it wasn't torn because they would've had a dead dog . The scratches on my top are very obvious on the black, does anyone have an idea of how I can fix it? I'm hoping I won't have to buy a whole new $400 top. Maybe there's some way I can blend them in?

He scratched the fabric? Meaning there are scratch marks where the color looks lighter? Hhmmm....maybe get a little black Rit dye from Wal-Mart or a crafts store and dab it on with a q-tip.

Oh yeah....maybe fix up a little cocktail for the dog. They love Prestone Colada's.
