Default Can I paint my intake with car paint

The reason im asking is because my car is getting painted and I was thinking of having him paint my intake the same color as my car . Will it burn off using reg. car paint ?

Thanks

It's fine. Put your hand on your intake, it's only warm, not hot.

Oh, I just noticed. Do you have an LT1? If so, why not powdercoat?
