3600 or 4000 stall????
I'm in the market for a stall and can't figure out exactly what i want. I've been told by quite a few people not to go to small because i'll regret it later.
My car is basically gonna be just a bolt on car so would a 3600 or 4000 stall be better for a mainly street car with an occasional trip to the strip.
I was just worried that a 4000 would be too much for the street.

A few questions to ask. What Cam are you running or do you plan to upgrade? How often do you go to the tracK? What are you suspension mods? If you want, you can fill out my "Ask Chris" form on my website and get me the details of your setup and I can help you pick out a performance converter. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

BTW thanks again Dave at Yank. You really came through in a crunch for me!

I've run both 3600 and 4000 Yanks. For awhile there I was more after track times hence the shift to the 4000. It does work a little better at the track but now that I'm more interested in having a fun car to rip around town I miss my old 3600 and wish I never switched it out. Now I need to pull the tranny again and switch to something smaller which I'm not thrilled about but what can you do. Chances are I will go with a Circle D just to try something different but the Yanks have been very good to me. I would talk to Dave at Yank and Chris at Circle D and see what they say, both top notch companies.
