Anyone got pictures of the last Trans Am's coming off the production line? Or any kind of assembly shots?

Yes, they were posted here awhile back. Great photos. Now the hard part because I can't remember who posted them or when. It could have been over a year ago. I want to say it was one of the moderators that had the photos. Have you tried the 'search' yet? Maybe under 'assembly line photos' or 'St Therese pictures'? Something like that? Hopefully someone will chime in.

Thanks Pseudonym. I tried a search but came up short. Anymore of Trans Am's specifically? I am putting together a video.

production date is on the drivers door jam sticker. it would be something like 06/01. anything after september is the beginning of the next model year. place of manufacture would have to come from the VIN number dont remember which one of the 17 it is tho. hope this helps

The last Trans Am was red, non-WS6. Someone has it on display in a museum - not sure where.
I will report back if I remember where I saw it.

If you look in this book, http://www.infibeam.com/Books/info/David-Newhardt/Firebird-Trans-Am/0760318506.html there is the last trans am made, and it has an interior shot with the steering wheel still in the wrap. I have the book but I can put the pic on the computer and I tried searching for it. but no luck.

Yes, the last T/A built was a red Convertable. I have some pics of it I took at the Trans Am Nationals a few years back. GM used to bring it to a few shows as part of their Heritage Collection. I do not know if it was sold off last year when GM sold off alot of their collection at B.J.
02WS6Blackbird... doublea87 is correct, the build date should be on a sticker in your door jamb.
Also, if I remember correctly F-body production may have ran all the way through late August of 02.

Just an update. For correction is was not sold. They brought it to Atlanta for the fbody gathering. Pretty sweet looking car. I do believe I have a picture of it but I can't load it due to using my phone and my computer being In a broken state at the moment.

anybody know how to find out when your car was born?
this site will give you that info if you put in your VIN
http://www.compnine.com/vid.php
my car was born on 10/11/94 and is one of only 24 trans ams sent to hawaii in 1995, 8 were black, 5 were auto, 3 had the uplevel spoiler, 2 had t-tops and mine had some special R9Z RPO that the other black one didnt. I don't think every state had a special RPO but the Hawaiian cars had RPO VH3 which combined with Y82 is how i got 24 and then i used the rpo's for black, ttops, uplevel spoiler, etc. I might be a little off on my numbers about the t-tops and spoiler but i definately remember there being 24 t/as and 8 of them being black.

Why isn't it special? You have one of the last Firebirds ever built. It may never be worth tons of money but it is a piece of automotive history.

Vehicle: FIREBIRD COUPE
Year: 2002
Build Date: Unk.
There are 4 2002 FIREBIRD COUPE vehicles (0.020%) matching your exact options list. There are 4 (0.020%) with at least as many options.
Sorry, but I'm uncertain as to what Unk. means. Probably Unknown, but what is a D92? From what I've found on google, it means the Stripes from the GT package.
D92 Unk. 1
Guess I have 1 in 4 of the firebirds in the world with the GT stripes. Awesome!
