Deal or No Deal
I came across a 97 Trans Am project car that someone has give up on and want to get some thoughts before I purchase. Some of the things that are on the car are:
Moser m9 fabricated 9" rear
-35 spline axles
-locker
-backbrace
-3.50 gear
-alum center
-wilwood brakes
-moser's adjustable torque arm and cross member
BMR adjustable LCA's and panhard bar
BMR sub frame connectors
BMR complete A arms
BMR k member with small/large block mounts and manual steering
wilwood manual brake master cylinder
4" exhaust forgot the brand
stainless works fuel tank
auto meter guage cluster and bezel set contains 7 or 8 gauges and wires
weld in roll cage
strange shocks/struts
no motor or tranny
Car has leather seats and interior looks great. It is missing front bumper and head lights. I plan on removing everything I want and putting it on my camaro then either selling what I don't use and parting the car out. Or putting my camaro's suspension under the car and selling it as a rolling chassis.
Thats all I can think of right now. All of the stuff I listed is new, rotors still have the paint on them, and the rearend has never had oil put in it. Car has just been sitting in this guys garage and he has been piecing it together. I can get the car for $5700. Will not be using the k member deal or no deal?
Any thoughts?

Yeah he was wanting $7500 at first. I know I would never be able to buy all the mods that are on this car for that price. He has $4500 in the rear alone after the upgrades and brakes. Hopefully I can sell some stuff so that I come out pretty good. Everything is new.

Sounds like theres a lot of good parts on it, especially if there all new. If the body and everything else was in good shape $4500 seems like a fair price, again depending on what kinda shape the car itself is in and how the workmanship on everything is.

Got everything for $4500, and the rear ended up having a wavetrac in it not a locker. The rear sway bar ended up being the BMR extreme sway bar so I had to buy the frame brackets because the ones that came with it were already welded on his car. Thanks for the advice it saved me some $$$$. Now the fun stuff begins I got to get everything installed under my car.
