Sputtering Engine Under Load -
Ok well I have been researching all day and I have seen a number of people with similar problems.
I am stock as far as tune, exhaust manifolds, etc.
I have changed my fuel filter, 4 plugs (The other 4 tomorrow), 4 wires (Other 4 tomorrow).
Below 2k rpm I get a stutter like it is missing. Not sure if this would be o2 sensors or something else. I am also going to clean out the MAF tomorrow with some spray cleaner, it is descreened so nothing is trapped in it.
This just happened all of a sudden, something maybe due to the extreme temperatures outside this weekend or something. Anything I could look for in AutoTap? I have 80k on it and it hasn't been beat on really or modified short of catback and lid. Thanks for any ideas.

It sputters about 50% of the time, most of the time under load.
No SES Codes, yet...
It kind of idles rough once it warms up and it does it under load.
No check on the fuel pressure yet. I have AutoTap, what should I look for as being "normal". Thanks!

CHeck for burnt wires, ALL OF THEM. Replace all Plugs.
Then do a Fuel pressure test, see if it is with in specs and you need to DRIVE the car and put a LOAD on the motor and monitor the pressure, if there is a signifigant drop then its a Fuel Pump Issue.
Intake leaks or vaccume leaks can lead to this too.

Thanks for the input. Did all plugs/wires and fuel filter. Plug #8, the hardest one, had a broken wire.
I put MSD Wires on about 40k miles ago, they all looked ok except for that one. Wonder if they warrant a broken wire like that? It totally just fell apart in my hand. After those items though it seems to run smoothly now and everything kinda smoothed out.
Wonder why I never got a misfire SES light, not a thing...I verified it wasn't burned out too.

Broken wire for sure was the problem. Now I am in the process of figuring out which o2 sensors to get. I hear Bosch sucks, but I have just standard oem manifolds so I dunno. I just want to keep up with this random stuff, the car always runs amazing, it is almost tough to notice when a little power goes missing cause of something minor like a fuel filter or something.

Just a quick and final add to this, MSD is sending me a new plug wire to replace the broken one. Not bad I guess they stand by their product.
SO..since I bought a set of Taylors, anyone want a set of 7 lightly used and 1 brand new MSD Plug Wires. I can get the part # later if you want it, but make me an offer via PM. I'll post to the for sale section soon.
