Default Dark Red Texas plate LS2 GTO in MN. I was in blacked out C5 :)

Ran into a guy with Texas plates, maroon LS2 GTO with aftermarket(i think CCW) polished wheels, aftermarket exhaust and what sounded like he sprayed but can't be certain . Anyway we had a couple highway runs from 70. Was fun, just seeing if he's on here

Sad to say I know this... Ok maybe not... But if a car has a sudden jump in RPM you can tell it sprayed... Unless you've owned a n2o kit you probably wouldn't know this

The only time I've never seen it do it is on a dry kit. My brothers 225 shot on the stock motor it was just a smooth change instead of a violent one.

No whoosh, I had nitrous in my Z28(never got to run it unfortunatly) and a friend with a '98 Z28 with spray and it sounded like he purged before hand along with the real sudden jump in RPM's when it went WOT like what Mr.Powell mentioned. It sounded alot like my buddies Z28 when he sprayed.

Someone I know just sold their GTO to a guy in MN. It was a dark red LS2 car with aftermarket TSW wheels. That car had a P-1 procharger and ran pretty good. Could be the same car.

I have had two N20 cars, never noticed a difference in sound when the 150shot would come on.

Your hearing must be really bad then. If youre in front of the cars exhaust tips you can hear the hissing sound, and you can damn sure hear the cars engine change note.

You know i was first wondering if it was procharged. WHen he first downshifted it sounded like it was procharged then i couldn't hear anything over the exhaust of our cars I didn't see a purge just what sounded like a purge of hiss of some sort. Who knows. Real sweet car and we both gave the thumbs up so it's all good when i first went by him on the highway he floored it to get next to me and run a couple times

from 70-120 he was at my back bumper and dropping but not fast i was in 3rd and pulled at the beginning then at the top of the gear he started to pull a little. Then i hit 4th and he dropped back again and was slowly dropping back. Good race We were on a 4 lane and didn't want to slow down too much. He seemed ok with it. His nose was at my front wheels when we went so we weren't perfectly lined up but it wouldn't have changed the outcome. Nice lookin' ride for sure. I think he was a little suprised by my Vette but he probably didn't know i'm a full bolt on, cammed car I had a passanger and some groceries in the back as well. My g/f is pretty tiny, but i'm no small one at 5'11" and about 225lb's lol

Cole train, this may be off topic, but the mods in your sig are IDENTICAL to a C5 my friend just picked up in Minnesota a few days ago. Only thing is that his is red.

^ yep looked just like that one. i was fairly certain they were CCW wheels on it. The car was beautiful for sure. With it being modded i figured it may have been on the boards He had the windows down but the rears were dark tint like that too
