Default Removing MAP sensor plug

does anybody know how to remove this plug. Just got this intake today and the brake booster fitting was broke off. No big deal if I can get it out I can replace with LS1 plug. I can spin the plug but it doesn't back out, so that leads me to believe that I have to pull on it. Just looking for a way to get it out without breaking something on the intake as well that would prevent me from using it. Thanks for the help in advance.

Well I got it out but broke the tabs on the inside, like I feared. Is there some special tool for this that GM has? Can you buy just this piece?

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah we figured we could use some kind of epoxy to glue it back in if we have to. Going to try and cut up one of our spare ls1 intakes to see if we can get at the plug from the inside and remove without breaking it. I guess no one has ever removed this without breaking it or cutting up an intake?

Ive never heard of anyone replacing it without killing another intake. Usually careless shippers dont pad the rear of the intake well enough and the rowdy UPS folks brake the ports off leading to one of these threads

GM lists a PN and seal for it, but it doesnt show to be available

Yeah I checked on this part today, GM has it listed as a NS part (non servicable). Looks like my ls1 or my dad's ls1 intake will die this weekend.
