Default Best header gaskets?

I haven't looked much through this forum to see if there is much opinion on this but I was wondering what opinions to type or brand of gaskets used in after market header installs. It's on a 2001 z28.

I haven't seen much as far as copper gaskets for these cars, I got copper ones for my iroc-z because I was told they were the best. The paper ones fell apart when I had to pull the headers.

I got hooker headers and I'm kind of thinking if I use the cheap gaskets it came with I might regret it so that's basically why I am asking.

Thanks

Reuse stock metal if you have lower than like 60k... I would just reuse for sure if they are in good shape though.

The GM MLS gaskets are the best. And as already stated, if they are in good shape, you can re-use them with no issue.

I've always used the stock gaskets like everyone else

The Kooks gaskets that they send with their headers are pretty awesome too

I got hooker headers that came with gaskets but I think im going to get some gm replacement ones.

I had enough fun with my iroc with gaskets kind of want to avoid that problem this time.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Agreed. When I helped a buddy put his Hooker headers on we opted to reuse the stockers.....
