Default Clutch master issue?

I just bought a 1998 z28 a month ago and recently the clutch pedal gets soft and gets stuck/takes a while to come up when held down for a while at times. Also at times it feels like i have to pump the pedal for it to firm up. I checked the fluid and its completely black.
My question is, Should I go through the trouble of flushing/refilling/bleeding the clutch master? or is it for sure bad and I should just look into replacing it with another one? If I look into replacing it, how much do you think the labor will cost? not including the new clutch master. Thanks

sounds like u got a bad clutch/flywheel , can u tell us how many miles on it ? , I don't know how much is the labor out there , but if i were u i'll install a new clutch/flywheel and slave cylinder by that u will solve all your problems without checking .

Always do the cheapest thing first. A Clutch fluid swap is first. IF properly bleed then it can be other things. Clutch, other Hydraulic Components...... age.... milage.
