I am in need of one also.....my 97's hood (#2438) was missing when I got it. There was a user trying to sell one in TX a few months back for $1200. Out of my price range, but it may still be available??

Just be patient. When I owned an LT1, it took months but I finally found an OEM LT1 SS Hood about an hour away in great condition, in the color I needed for $500. I was stoked. You just gotta wait for one to pop up.
