I do maybe half city and half highway driving with AC on of course. Sometimes, I'll sit in the car during the week for lunch. My fuel economy has been around 16-17 mpg. Is that normal?

That's double what my 400ci heads/cam Trans Am made.

I went through a tank of gas before I ever even drove the car haha.

My old T/A would use half a tank going from my house to school, work and back. Probably like 23 miles but I tore *** everywhere in that car, that thing idled at the speed limit.

I wonder if mine should be a little higher.

I also wonder if I should replace my cats. Car has 151K miles.

Yea I think replacing the cats and fuel pump/filter will help out a lot. Just a full tune up in general. Going to laporte everyday wich is from the beggining of 225 to battleground rd. I would use 1/8 tank and that's over 30 miles round trip

Yeah, I'm overdue for changing out the fuel filter. Replacing the fuel pump is too expensive of a project right now.

Are those Magnaflow cats I linked to on ebay any good?

I get around 20 with a mixture of highway and intowm driving more towards highway though. Best I've ever gotten was 22 which was pretty much all highway. I have everything done in my sig plus a dyno tune.

lol. It's not too bad.

Fill up car
Reset trip meter
Drive car until you need to fill up tank again
Fill up car
Record how many gallons it took to fill up the car
Record how many miles are on your trip meter
Divide the miles by the gallons
