I haven't done the wiring harness on mine yet but it looks pretty straight forward.
Your really just eliminating what you don't need, and getting power to the things you do need, like injectors, coils and what not.
If you don't want to do the harness yourself there are companies that will either rework one for you for about 350 or buy a new one for about 850-1000. If you buy one they really are plug and play the new ones.
