Default Need Tips To Remove Doors

My car is finally going in for paint in a couple weeks and I need some help. The only part of this car I have not removed before is the doors and I am looking for tips. I searched and could not find what I was looking for.

1. Should I unbolt the hinges from the doors leaving them attached to the jambs, or unbolt the hinges from the jambs leaving them attached to the doors? I am not near my car right now, so there may be bolts only on one end...I don't remember.

2. Again, I am not near my car right now and I can't remember, but is there a spring and if so do I need something to compress it first?

3. Will I be able to fish the wires out of the holes in the doors once I unplug the connectors from everything, or do the individual wires need to be disconnected from the plugs?

4. Any other tips or gotchas I need to look out for to make this easier?

I made a dolly that fits on my floor jack for changing out doors.
I made it out of steel tubing but you could make a frame with 2x4s on the cheap.
You can unbolt at the door just mark it so it will go back in same spot.
Ive drilled small holes thru hinges(like 1/8") so I can easily realign.

if you pull the door liner off you can fish all the wires out. there are no connections on the inside of the car to disconnect every thing so this is the way it has to be done (i just pulled mine down for paint) every connection has to be undone then fished through the door. i unbolted mine from the car since the over spray from the factory left me a perfect alignment position. i left the door shut, unbolted it opened the door and picked it up using the slots on the inside of the door and layed them down on saw horses... too easy
