Default Cam bearing question

I recently got a LQ9 and took it apart to clean it up today. I pulled the heads and everything looks good. Pulled the front cover and pulled the cam out that looked good too. I checked the cam bearings and they all have some copper showing through. There are no nicks or scratches on them. Ive heard that this is normal for Lsx motors. Is this true or should I just install new ones?
