Default Paint problem

I am having an issue with the paint on the roof panel between the ttops and rear hatch. The paint is bubbling in a line on each side of the panel and some kind of oil residue is seeping through the paint in some areas. I took it to a body shop and they had no idea what is causing it. I need people who know what they are talking about on this issue to respond. Please no ignorant responses like I should go to another body shop. I need to know what you had done and to prevent it in the future. Also how much did it cost you in the end.

Unfortunately a normal occurrence.

You can read all about the nightmare in the Paint and Body Work Section.

The ONLY way to fix it is to have the composite roof hoop completely removed, all the old glue residue removed and replaced with new roof hoop.

The glue that holds it on is reacting with the roof material, and it will continue to get worse.
