Good call on purchasing from a dealer, you should be able to get him down quite a bit from that asking price.

You will love it.

I'm hoping to get the price down some. The car just needs a good detail and it'll be near perfect. I'll see how much I love it after I test drive it today

If you walk in to buy with cash and not financing you should definitaly be able to get the price down.

As stated before i also prefer the manual greatly.

I like manuals as well but it's going to be my dd. My fast car is a manual so I'm using the gto as a cruiser. I'll be financing... I wish I had it in cash

Eh thats not bad. I wish i financed mine when i had the chance, being in college with zero credit aint that great :/

But does give me a perfect excuse to finance a bike :D

Either way you should be able to get it for less then the advertised price.

I hope so. The cheaper the better and i'm right there with you. Its hard to be young and try to finance. This will be my first attempt at buying a car so we'll see what happens. The worst thing that can happen is they'll say i can't get it. I guess that just means more goodies for the camaro :D lol

Saturday I bought an 06 Quicksilver Metallic A4 GTO. It has 38k on it. It is in decent shape, just very minor cosmetic issues. Such as the front bumper is scratched underneath and there is a small scuff on the spoiler. Also the driver's side seat has a little bit of wear on the left side. The dealer wanted 18.5k, but I talked with them for about a week and got it for 16.2k. I guess it was an ok deal. It drives great.

Those are good deals. I'm in the market as well but my selection is a bit limited up here in Alaska. I did find a nice '04 (63K mi) at a dealer and they are asking....get this.....$21995! WTF! I really hope no one gets suckered into that one. I feel like going in there and low balling the shit out of them and show them the real book value.

Heres another one, though the price is kinda high for the mileage but it has a warranty.

There are sub 10k ones all the time too but they usually have almost 100k or sometimes more miles.

The silver (second) is sold. And the first seems fake. These are all over craigslist. First, the price is insanely low. Second, the guy said he couldn't input his email? But really, 2006, 18k miles, $12,500, best deal out there if it's real. But I doubt (99%) it isn't.

I do have an 06 for sale if OP is interested. The craigslist ad is below.

Craigslist wont let you put any email in the ad, you have to space it out somehow. I ran into this when i sold a few cars as well.
