I hope you are kidding. Firebird and Camaro are gone in 2002. Corvette and GTO for 2004 will be made, but haven't seen any pictures yet.

I've seen some pictures of the GTO in Car and Driver Magazine. GM is bringing a model over from Australia and putting an LS1 in there... it looks so ugly for even trying to be a sports car. If I can find a link to it I'll post it. Very dissappointing though.

GTO doesnt look that bad, imo. Not the style we're used to seeing, but its more/less a Poncho on steroids.
And ive "heard" some rumors of there not being an 04 vette, and doing like an 83 corvette thing, where they just re-tool the factory to make way for the C6, and just debut it as an 05 year. But, what will GM do? Who knows....i just wish they had made the Silverado SS in 99 vs 03...took them that long to **** it up, and make it this slow pig it is now
And supposedly the Camaro and Firebird names will be back, just not sitting on an Fbody platform anymore...once again, whether they do show up or not, is up to GM. I say bring 'em the hell back, so Ford doesnt think they're the only beast on the market

The Holden Monaro CV8 (Pontiac GTO) is not my type of vehicle. Unless GM comes out with a suitable F-body replacement, I WILL buy a Nissan 350Z. Or a BMW Z3. ((Did I just say that?!?))
I WANT MY F-BODIES BACK!!!

I think he meant/thought they were coming back, hopefully, in 2004/5, and wanted to see concept pics.
GM is being foolish

I like the new GTO. It has nice lines, a nice interior, and should perform well.
There were some concept pics of a 2005 Camaro, but nothing "official". Its not definate, but the Camaro has a better chance of coming back than the Firebird.
There is a new Small Block Chevy in Development right now too. Its similar to the LS1 but with 2 cams in the block and variable valve timing. I think its called XV8

Just think a smooth idle that makes power everywhere. Its supose to be available on the Hi-po vette (maybe Z06 maybe not) and it wont be available right when the C6's first come out but like a year or 2 later. This engine is supose to put up 500+HP but there will not be engine options like there were in the old day (327,350,427,454). The regular vette is supose to get an engine called the LS2 and its based off the LS1 and thats all I know for now. All this info that I know has gotten about 14 people fired from GM for leaking info. The C6 is also 300-500 pounds lighter than the Z06, and theres gona be a A5 transmission, and a possibility for an M7 stick. So with all this just think a 2600lbs 500+hp M7 viper killer. The code names are something like snake tamer and there have been some sightings on GM proving grounds in the late evenings, and some say that have been driving around michigan with a C5 body over it. Only time will tell

stang killer, ive heard rumors about GM testing a motor like that. Would be cool for them, imo. But as long as they dont screw up the vehicle lines anymore...

Re: Anyone have pics for Trans am , Corvette and Camaro 2004
stang killer,
I have heard about that engine and about some of the rest of what you said. I also heard about variable compression. The cylinder heads tilts, thereby altering the compression ratio. It was developed by Saab and GM bought Saab. Now GM is working on it. It they combine variable compression, electronic valves, and cylinder cut-off they will have one hell of a techno-wizardry engine. It should make plenty of power, get great gass mileage and great emissions. Now will they put all of that into one engine? Probable not in the near future. But some of it should trickle down over the next few years.

The lines are evident. So is the Nippon influence.
