Default tail piece part number?

I need the rear housing for a 98 fbody 4l60e transmission. If you have a part number handy I would appreciate it. Thanks. Chuck

209544, outdated part number that came off a GM dealer website that sells it for $211 new with the bushing and seal. PATC has them used sometimes for $125.

They go for cheap on ebay once and a while, here too.
I have a spare one I'd sell for $100 but having said that someone will come along and offer you one for cheaper.

Thanks for info Jay. I am trying to put a complete extra trans together so I do not have to move parts back and forth.

Me too that why I price the parts off it kind of high, I need a LS1 input and a few other things. But this will be my second spare.

You can sometimes get them at local salvage yards and such...had no idea they were so expensive

I've sold 3-4 for $30 or so, which has been the normal price I get them for when I can find them

You had better raise your price to 75.00. Thanks. Let me know if you get one with the o ring.
