C5 RIMS on 1998 Firebird Formula LS1
Help, got a nice set of 2002 C5 Corvette Rims with 17 by 8.5 fronts, tire 245-45-17 (I believe 58mm offset)
and
Rears are 18 by 9.5, tire 275-40-18 (I believe 65mm offset)
Test bolted rears and they are going to rub...what is the correct set-up...I'm guessing spacers but how thick?
I'm guessing 1.5 to 2.0 inches in the rear and the fronts bolt right on?
I want it done the best way possible so any expertise much appreciated. Thanks, John

You need spacers to get you down to the correct offsets, if you run spacers you should really be running extended studs then to be safe. I would just buy the correct offset wheels considering they make a million types of replicas.
