Also, can you hear anything different from the trans when you have the clutch pedal to the floor as compared to having the clutch pedal up?
Did you touch anything on the trans other than the shifter?

You started the car with the trans in first gear? Did it move forward? If not, I don't think it's a clutch issue.

no sound difference that i can hear with the pedal up/or down.
what do you mean "Did you touch anything on the trans other than the shifter?"
the only real difference is the flywheel was resurfaced. im worried it was cut to much and now i have to shim

yeah, nothing internally. b4 it came off everything was fine except the pilot bearing.
the only thing changed besides the pilot bearing was the resurfaced flywheel. then it didnt want to go into gear, which i then decided to pull it out again and change the slave and nothing changed...
so now the only other thing that it can possibly be is the flywheel. maybe it resurfaced to much and maybe i have to either replace it or shim the slave

Let the car back on the ground. With the engine not running, engage into first gear. Push the clutch in and start the engine. Tell us if the car moves forward. If so, you do have clutch/FW issue. If it doesn't move forward, then let the clutch out and drive it and tell us the results.
What I was refering to about the shifter is I assume you took the shifter off before pulling the trans, right? Did you remove/touch anything else when you removed the trans?

well, the trans is off, again for the feels like gaggillionth time
now waiting to get a new flywheel, cant seem to find anyone selling a ls2 flywheel on its own
question, if you tighten the PP bolts too much, will that cause issues? since the tighter the bolts, the flatter the prongs in the center of the PP get

You should take some measurements to see if you need a shim for the slave. The resurface might have increased the distance between the slave and pressure place just enough that it wont disengage the clutch. If that is the case a shim or new flywheel will fix it. But the shim is alot cheaper. There was a post awhile ago about how to measure for the shim. If you use that as a guide it should help. Good luck
