looking to squeeze a little more out of my '98 Z28.... doing headers and a cat back soon, will crane 1.8's work on stock heads or do i need new valve springs?

also what kind of power gains should i expect? i've been told about 10 at the wheels is that about right?

Maybe 10 hp. You will need better springs, PAC 1218's should do it. If you get the Cranes, make sure you get the entire kit. If there are pieces missing they could be hard to get individually.

thanks.. i'll put the money into the car elsewhere, between the rockers and springs and everything else it's just not worth it for 10hp
