Guys running TFS 215's come in! Pushrod?
Ok, so I want to know what your pushrod length is and what your heads are milled to? Im currently at 61 and I run a 7.375 with YT rockers. Reason I ask is because I have not seen one person with shorter then a 7.400 and I set mine just like the paper said did. The had tight all the way then set the preload and messured.. what the hell is up with the pushrod length. I don't think I did any thing wrong and I did lots of research before I did this. Im just really confused.. I drive the car every day so Im thinking if it was off that much I would have messed somthing up by now?
Also forgot to add that Im running a .045 head gasket.

TFS 215 heads unmilled, .040 cometic gaskets, YT rockers. First used the recommended 7.50 pushrods and had ~.75-1.00 turns preload. Had too much noise, switched to 7.550 pushrods, now have ~1.5-1.75 turns preload and a much quieter valve train.

Hey Justin what's up, this is the guy from Las Cruces (Fernando) that had contacted you about the engine you had on craigslist around the beginning of the year.
Anyways I am running 215's milled to 59 cc's and a 7.5 pushrod. That's wierd that yours are so short. As was asked already how noisy is it??

My bad guys on not keeping up with this. Mine don't make alot of noise at all. After thinking about it, I think it's the wipe that I need to do. I'm sure it's not in the center like it should be. Hope it don't mess it up, but going to have to wait on the pushrods and checkers.(money is tight) I see a few guys on here running it short and you guys might want to check this. I just never thought about it when I was installing them, I seen that it was a little off but thought that was alright just as long as it was on it. Yah also man just sold the motor yesturday.
Also I'm using Comp R lifters.

I'm confused
I have the 215 TFS with a MS3 cam and yellow terra etc. I was told I shouldnt mill my heads so I'm still at 64cc. This is a nitrous car 250 shot. Could I have milled those heads a bit to bump my compression up. I'm using a040 cometic gasket.
