Default max cam duration on a stock 02 ls1 engine

anybody kno what is the maxium camd duration on a stock ls1 engine i have a 02 firehawk...

The Ms4 is pretty much the biggest cam you could put in.

The Trex is a bit bigger on the duration that the Ms4 and people are fine running that.
.242 .248

.251 on the exhaust side is pretty steep. What heads are you running?

No, you have to check pistont to valve clearance for yourself. Dont rely on some random guy on the forum. If your engine kills itself no one is going to cut you a check to repair your engine.
