Default bad tune? or bad combination of parts?

i have a trans am that isnt as fast as it should be with the mods it has and i cant figure out why, i thought maybe some of you guys could help me out
mods:
slp lid and maf
bbk ssi 80mm intake and bbk 80mm throttle body
pacesetter headers, ory, magnaflow catback (no egr)
comp cam 224/234 .50-550 lift
ported and polished(bowl blended) 853 heads
new ac delco plugs
new built tranny w/ 2200 stall
373s
stock injectors and fuel pump
this is to give you an idea of what im working with, 125k miles but engine is really healthy, no smoking

when i take off it will bog very slightly sometimes, and when i floor it the power will fade in and out very slightly, and for what the cars got done to it, it disapointed me when a stock 02 z28 hung with me, which wasnt suprising since the car clearly doesnt do its full potential, and yes the car was dynotuned, any suggestions? anything is helpful i value all opinions

This is where I would put my money. Could be the tune as well.

Take a look at this Wide-Band setup. You need one and probably a fuel pressure gauge. Hey the Zeitronix's setup will run a fuel pressure gauge also.

I'm not a tuner at all, and that could be your problem. But I was pointing out your stall. Probably wouldn't hurt to go bigger on that, especially on a cammed car. That could possibly be why your car isn't launching as hard as you expect.

oh yea, no doubt it needs at least a 3000, i regret not going bigger when i put the tranny in but sad thing is even from a roll the car isnt pulling as hard as it should, here and there it will suprise me and pull hard as **** then i could floor it again and it will feel normally slow again, its strange

i know the injectors and pump would have to make alot of difference bc when i got it dynoed it pulled a 408 rear wheel but the tuner said it was a little leaner than he was comfortable with so he backed off of the tune to around 370 rwhp, but i dont kno if he just backed off of the timing or what, it was a while back i cant remember, he also told me that by adding the 38 lb injectors i could probly get up to 420 rearwheel, when i get the money i might get some greentops and put on it

This is why you should have a Wide-Band. It will also help protect your investment

What is the reason for the slp maf? Most tuners that i have talked to prefer that you stay with the stock unit as aftermarket ones tend to be a pita to tune. IMO it may or may not have something to do with your issue, but might be something to look into.

he pulled nearly 40rwhp out of your tune because it was a little lean?

something isn't adding up

Well the tuner is a douche. I know who it is and i wouldn't let him check my air pressure let alone my tune.

to reply to the guy with the chevelle, it pulled 408 but it was lean enough at that point that it wudnt be good for it to run that tune and dog it consistantly
