As the title says I just had my 4l60e rebuilt new seals, bands, clutches and some other stuff. I have a bunch of type F (2 cases) i'd really like to use it if possible, how much fluid do I need to fill and can I use type F? I plan on changing the fluid after about 1k, so would it be ok to use the F just for the first 1k? (trying to save a little money) Thanks in advance for the help!

After spending the money on a rebuild,I would NOT use that fluid...dextron 3 only

dont run the type f unless you want to burn your fresh rebuild to the ground...dex 3 all the way
