Default Opening chamber size, unshrouding valves and cleaning up CNC work gain

My Patriots are coming off soon to fix the leaking Cometic and install the RapTr. I have the larger 2.05 valves so was going to have my friend (head porter) open up the chamber to GM MLS sizing, unshroud the valves at the narrow side, clean up the CNC ridges and contour the ports and mill them .010". Anyone have info on gains this may give if at all?

I'd measure the throat and make sure it is 89-91% the size of your 2.055" valves. If they are not opened up that alone would help. If there is a sharp transition from the top cut of the valve job to the combustion chamber that is worth smoothing out. I don't know what size your heads are at but I would try to mill them down to 60-62cc's. Of course if you don't know what you're doing you could easily make things worse.
