Awww crap, what did I break?
Sorry for the terrible cell phon picture from the underside of my car. I bumped this while I was installing my long tube headers and it broke off.
It's the cylinder behind the O2 sensor with the heat tape on it. I'm thinking its an oil pressure sending unit, but I have no idea how to replace it. It looks like it just screws in right above/in front of the oil filter on the drivers side.

shbox is right once again!!! Get a new one and a 1/4" npt plug....Plug the hole it's in and relocate the sendor to the port on top of the engine where the late 95 and on sendor is located....it will require lengthening the wires a bit, but it's a better place for it anyway....

Awesome, thanks guys looks like a little over $20 from autozone. Not too bad. I am a little curious about the relocation of it tho, what advantages does it give? Just getting it out of the way? Thanks for the help

94's were there as well...I believe they changed it in late 94 or 95...
relocating it will also get the sendor away from the heat that those headers are going to be radiating....it'll help it live a bit longer by putting it up top and it's really easy to do contrary to some beliefs

ok I am pretty sure that there is some misinformation in here. people are confusing the low oil level sensor with the oil pressure sensor. the low oil level sensor is in the side of the oil pan. the oil pressure sensor is located above the oil filter on some years 93 and some 94s. and behind the intake manifold on later years
